By popular request, we’ve broadened the upcoming KYR training to include general information for allies and a chance to learn about
the Jackson Coalition 4 Immigrants

KNOW YOUR RIGHTS TRAINING
NEW MATERIAL!
Wednesday, April 15 from 7-9 pm
St. Paul UCC, 14600 Old US 12. Use north entrance

This training will:

    • Provide tools for those who identify as allies of our friends and neighbors targeted by ICE
    • Update your knowledge of constitutional and human rights during this iincreasingly authoritarian and dangerous administration.
    • Provide a vehicle to spread the word to area businesses to protect their workers and to manage ICE in the workplace
    • Introduce Gayla Ignacio and members of the Jackson Coalition 4 Immigrants. OWOF is trying to be a supportive partner to this organization.

Protest against ICE in Romulus. City Council voted unanimously for resolution condemning ICE purchase of warehouse to create new gulag in their city.

OWOF is one of many groups organizing for good change in our communities. This all group, public meeting on Sun, Feb 22nd in Chelsea will feature a number of local folks taking action. Hope to see you there!
