And do we have any safeguards or weaknesses in our society?

In April, we’ll discuss what we can do and new articles will be posted. The April location will be the Board Room at the WSEC – Wed, April 23 at 7pm. Look to the same link for articles and Zoom.

NEW EVENT NOTICE!!!

IMMIGRATION 101 – March 31, 2025 @ 6:00 pm
Chelsea District Library, McKune Room

OWOF will host an opportunity to learn more about the current status of immigration, including the basics of immigration law and the court process, the rules of enforcement and ICE activity, and what might come next. The panel discussion will include legal and community advocates from state and local immigrant rights organizations. It will a good time to learn and understand what’s involved and how local residents can help protect and advocate for people in our communities who came to America for a better life.

EVENT OFFERINGS from FRIENDS of OWOF

See respective websites for additional information. Feel free to email owofcheslea@gmail.com if you have an event you’d like to be included in an upcoming OWOF newsletter. Thanks!
